Texas Tattoos & Blues Bio

I’ve always done art in various forms, leather carving and tooling, metal sculpture, watercolor, air-brush, and wood-work. I’m a self-taught tattoo artist, who started tattooing in 1990. My influences are Ed Hardy, Eddie Deutsch, Craig Tothe, Sailor Jerry, Jack Rudy, Philip Leu, and Tom Renshaw. I love black and grey work, portraits, Japanese imagery, and bowling pin eagles. I opened my first shop, International Tattoo Garden, on the El Camino Real in Belmont, California in 1996. The shop was moved to 5^th Street in Eureka, California, in 2001. Texas Tattoos and Blues opened in San Antonio, Texas in 2006

Why “Texas Tattoos and Blues“?
Growing up in San Francisco in the late 60's and going to shows at some of rock's legendary venues, I had the opportunity to see some of music's greatest blues artists, and my love of the Blues was born.

Do your part to preserve the roots of American music, join the San Antonio Blues Society, support the blues, and I’ll take care of the tattoos.
